Learner's Minyan
The "Learner's Minyan" is an opportunity for those learning the Shabbat morning service and desiring a deeper understanding of its structure and meaning to meet with Rabbi Gail Swedroe monthly at 9:40- 10:15AM in the CAA Chapel. People of all levels are welcome. The dates are:






Community Based Education Programs presents: Living Mitzvah (Chai Mitzvah)
This fall Congregation Agudas Achim will join the national Jewish adult education movement known as Chai Mitzvah (Living Mitzvah) . Living Mitzvah spans the spectrum of Jewish practice and is for people of any background or level of Jewish knowledge. Living Mitzvah builds community, bringing people together across generations and /or similar ages and stages of life, such as empty nesters, Jews by Choice, early childhood parents. Living Judaism: A Guide to Jewish Awareness and Practice with Rabbi Neil Blumofe

Join Rabbi Blumofe for this dynamic class which will introduce or refresh many areas of Judaism and Jewish life including history, holidays, lifecycle events, philosophy, theology and Israel. This class is for Jews and non-Jews. Class is held 3-4 times per month beginning Wed, November 2nd and will continue through May. Class begins with minyan at 6 pm in the Chapel.

Tuition is $150 plus books.
