Hazak is partnering with Empty Nesters make a trip to visit the Amon Carter Museum of American Art and the Kimble Art Museum in Fort Worth.

Kabbalah and the Art of Spiritual Wisdom
Kabbalah – known as Jewish Mysticism. Each week will be a presented topic/text from the tradition with room for questioning, investigation, and conversation. We will meet between the weeks of the Jewish Festivals of Passover and Shavuot – a time that is dedicated to elevating our spiritual searches. All are welcome – taught by Neil Blumofe, Senior Rabbi at Congregation Agudas Achim. Classes will be held from 7 to 9 pm either in the Sanctuary or Community Center at the Amala Foundation at 1006 So 8th St, Austin on May 24 (*This class will be held at the “Open Room.”) Donations sweetly accepted (suggested $10) each week. We will not turn anyone away.
Hachnasat Orchim Shabbat Dinner

With Spring and Summer and our Kabbalat Service beginning at 7:30 we have exciting changes. Hachnasat Orchim is pleased to announce our second bi-monthly community dinners before Kabbalat Shabbat services at CAA!
The first Friday of the month, we'll offer a dairy potluck dinner before services, beginning at 6:15 p.m.
All other weeks, following services, we'll have enhanced onegs. To host dinners please contact Karen Chanon at Karenchanon@aol.com and onegs contact Connie Scharff at cscharff@sbcglobal.net. We look forward to having you join us!
